Our driving improvement course is designed for full licence holders. You may have been driving for years, only passed recently or you may be concerned about changes on the road. On this course we will assess your driving on the first lesson then help develop your driving back towards the standards of the UK driving test and beyond. We can also tailor the course to suit you by spending time on roundabouts in city centres, one way systems, multi-lanes junctions, motorways or whatever else worries you when you are out driving.
The cost of the course will be dependent on what your requirements are, how much you want to cover and how the assessment of your driving goes when we start but it will be based around our standard pricing structure.
If you want to book or have any questions please call 01416119665 or 07886920037.
Driving lessons can be taken for 1 or 2 hours at a time. They can be taken once a week, twice or more. We tend to find that it is more efficient for you in the long term to take two hours at a time as it takes less driving lessons overall. This is because you pick it up quicker and less time is spent recapping the previous lesson. However, some people struggle to concentrate for two hours or get tired so it is up to you to choose. We will try to accommodate everyone whether you prefer different times or the same time every week. However all driving lessons have to be subject to availability as we are always very busy.
Driving Lessons should not be seen simply as a means of passing the test. We are teaching you a skill for life and I’m sure you want to keep yourself and others safe on the roads. You need to be able to drive safely on all roads and traffic conditions. Tuition follows the syllabus laid down by the DVSA.
Remember before taking standard driving lessons you must be over 17 and hold a Provisional driving licence. Your licence must be available for inspection on your first lesson. If you do not yet hold a licence you can apply for it online at the DVLA link below.

Motorways are the safest type of road but many people avoid them due to lack of confidence. These lessons are designed to give you the confidence to drive on Motorways. Motorway lessons are available for 1 or 2 hours but to cover a variety of them and build confidence we recommend two hours together.
It involves covering the signs and markings you’d expect to see and practice on a variety of motorways, both urban and rural. Generally aimed at people who would not benefit from Pass Plus discounts or people who have driven for a while but not had the confidence to use Motorways yet. Young drivers who have recently passed should consider Pass Plus which covers this and more.
If you want to book this type of lessons, any other type of lesson or have any other questions please contact us.
The Pass Plus course is designed for young drivers who have recently passed their test. It is to teach you further skills and experience in different situations you may not have encountered in the test or pre-test driving lessons. It has been designed inconjunction with insurance companies so that the cost of the course could be offset by insurance discounts.
I believe this course is invaluable and as such offer it to pupils I have taught as learners at normal prices even though it actually costs more to provide compared with 6 standard lessons. The DVSA specify you must take at least six hours of Pass Plus tuition and it covers the following modules : –
– Town Driving
– All-weather driving
– Driving on Rural Roads
– Night Drivin
– Driving on Dual Carriageways
– Motorway Driving

Refresher lessons are aimed at those who may have held a full licence for a while but who have either not driven for some time or who want to improve their skills to update them for the modern roads.
Traffic signs, markings and rules change over time. Would your driving skills and knowledge be good enough to pass a test? If you have lost your driving licence you will need to replace it before coming on the lessons.
